As Nebraska continues to embrace growing renewable energy projects across the state, we at The Center are continuing to work with county governments on balanced ordinance guidance and development to ensure these communities are well positioned to capitalize on this activity and reap the benefits to come.

We have been actively engaged with numerous counties across the state by providing access to our team of experts so we can assist them with tailoring their policies to best protect their county and its landowners while maintaining a posture that they are welcoming of development. With proper guard rails in place, both the local community and the renewable energy industry can stand to benefit from responsible development.

However, our work is not done in Nebraska. Our State Director Cale Giese and Policy Advisor Jim Smith are continuing to engage with local leaders across the state to provide support on balanced policy development.
